Get Over Yourself, Canzano!

September 28th, 2007 · 5 Comments

I didn’t even get past the headline in Canzano’s blog entry this morning before I wanted to gag.  Two weeks ago, he was supposed to meet the Bird Man.  Now he’s teaching life-lessons to first graders.  Or are they teaching them to me?  I’m so confused.

Hey JC!  Greg Oden is a pro basketball player, not Mother Teresa!  Would someone at KXL or The O please sit Canzano down and ask him to talk sports again?  I realize it’s his life’s ambition to win a Pulitzer.  Sandy Rowe probably even put a Pulitzer bounty somewhere in the fine print of his contract.  But enough!  If Oprahfying the sports page is what it takes to gain some sort of national acclaim, then please count me out.

I agree. Canzano is so full of himself. I used to like his columns, but now they just make me sick. The recent Belotti and Tedford article is a great case in point. What the hell is Canzano thinking?!? I hate his writing. I hate his material. Bad stuff all around.

Anything I can do to help, just let me know. I can not even look at this picture. The smirk has to be stopped.

doesn’t anyone else realize that this guy has been stinking it up for years? his first couple years at the O, he was infatuated with the idea of one sentence paragraphs, that there was somehow more meaning if he hit the return and tab button every sentence. at least he’s not doing that as much anymore, just writing fodder now

To love oneself is the beginning of a life long romance! (Canzano)
